What People Have To Say To Us
I felt so attended to, so cared for, so held. The break was absolutely beautiful. The whole package (food, facilitators, table décor, kindness, sharing with survivors, etc) was so wonderfully healing. Thank you all so much!
The mindfulness meditations were so profound and stilling and ‘accepting life’ confirming. The group sessions were amazing as with people who also had been through similar you just said one word e.g. tiredness and everyone would nod and know exactly what you meant. That was so healing.
I really enjoyed the connection we had as a group and sharing experiences. We talked about accepting all feelings, negative as well as positive, and this is something I have remembered. Learning to sit with uncomfortable feelings.
We are both most grateful for the experience you all offer. It has moved us to be the recipients of this loving, generous gift by strangers. It was like a four day birthday party with strangers, where you find you all have so much in common and shared humanity. It was the kindest of ‘gifts’!! Thank you all!
It was a life-changing and very valuable experience, which I’ll take with me forever.
I felt that the facilitators worked well together and were able to provide thoughtful attention to both individual and group processes within a well held and caring environment.
